"Where can I sample the best Catalan cuisine?" That's a question we get asked constantly, and the answer isn't that simple. It depends on your location of course, and the type of food you enjoy. But there are some standards for judging restaurants in general that are universal, and one of them is the Michelin guide and their star system.

In this section we provide you with a list of all of the Michelin-rated Catalan restaurants in Catalunya and in the rest of Spain. We call this page "Best of the Best". There are quite a few restaurants in it, and you'll see some familiar names that we've mentioned in other parts of the site.

We've also built a Restaurant Directory to help you find Catalan restaurants in every part of the world. It's still very much under construction, but -- with the addition of reviews and your feedback -- we hope to make it the quintessential guide to "Eating Catalunya" anywhere you are.
